One form of poker I play and fell in love with is Texas Hold 'em the most popular form of poker in the world today. Hold em consist of 2-10 players all playing against each other. Unlike most sports anyone can play if you have a deck of cards, it don’t matter of your age, height, weight. Poker is mentally hard; just picture playing cards for 8.5 Million Dollars for 17 hours (that was the time it took for 1 player to win the 2009 World Series Of Poker or W.S.O.P.) with Millions of people watching you. The winner of this W.S.O.P. was only 21 years old (this is the age you have to be to play) 21 winning 8.5 million in cash, and millions more in sponsorship. I think this is what draws people to this game; anyone can win at anytime with the right cards and the knowledge of the game. Is it a sport yet, No, someday could it be, why not?
